Aspendale’s beachside location informed the interior of each apartment, where soft, putty greys and timbers offer subtle references to sky and sand, and textural tiles create an illusion of external paving.

Considered joinery enhances a feeling of serenity by minimising clutter, and the interplay of tactile and matte finishes responds to the coastal context and architecture, where sharp aluminium shrouds and angled cladding elements contrast with pale bricks and timbers.
