Laurent Bakery Ivanhoe marks the sixth Laurent Bakery designed by GOLDEN, to extend their newly rejuvenated brand ethos. The design language of GOLDEN’s Laurent Bakery stores is based on the art of patisserie, harmonising Australian cafe culture with heritage Parisian patisseries.

GOLDEN drew upon surrounding factors for design inspiration, including the leafy streets of the Ivanhoe suburb as well as the architectural icon Heide Museum. The application of mosaic floors, natural stones and timber lined ceilings, fused this local homage with classic French patisserie forms, by drawing upon various Viennoiseries (French breakfast pastries) as circular motifs to ground the space.
